## CC7

## Monday: 4/16/18

__7.G.A.2 Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle. 7.NS.A.1__

**Objective:**Apply and extend previous understandings of addition and subtraction to add and subtract rational numbers; represent addition and subtraction on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram.

__: What is the relationships between the side lengths of a triangle?__

**Essential Question****I Can**show that the 4 side lengths that form a quadrilateral can be rearranged to form different quadrilaterals. I can show that the 3 side lengths that form a triangle cannot be rearranged to form a different triangle.

Today's Agenda:

## Tuesday: 4/17/18

__7.G.A.2 Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle.__

**Objective:**__: What changes need to happen to a triangle to make a new triangle?__

**Essential Question****I Can**understand that changing which sides and angles are next to each other can make different triangles.

Today's Agenda: We will spend time remaining working through probability standards for 7th grade. in preparation for PARCC.

- Probability (password protected, see Mrs. Scheetz, if needed)

## Wednesday: 4/18/18

__7.G.A Draw, construct, and describe geometrical figures and describe the relationships between them. 7.G.A.2 Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle.__

**Objective:**__: What's the best way to draw a triangle?__

**Essential Question****I Can**Given two angle measures and one side length, I can draw different triangles with these measurements or show that these measurements determine one unique triangle or no triangle.

Dear CC7 Students,

Hello! Unfortunately, I cannot be with you today. You are expected to get started RIGHT away when the bell rings at the beginning of the period . Remember, I expect you to be working and not socializing during this time. This is an academic setting, one in which I am holding you accountable for. Please be sure you have chosen your seats where you will work best.

- Take a PARCC Spring Operational 2016 Grade 7 Released Items packet. PUT YOUR NAME ON THE FRONT COVER!
- Complete the first 10 problems ONLY
- Go to our website, and navigate to the daily agenda. Click on the desmos link for your class.
- Use the PARCC Spring Operational 2016 Grade 7 Released Items packet to answer the questions in Desmos.

HERE IS THE LINK - Turn in your PARCC Spring Operational 2016 Grade 7 Released Items packet to the sub. Is your name on it??
- With remaining time, work on IXL 7th grade W12 - W13; Completing with a minimum of 80% accuracy on a section before moving on. You will have more time next week to continue this IXL assignment.
