## CC7

## Monday: 3/19/18

__7.EE.B.4.b Solve word problems leading to inequalities of the form px+q>r or px+q<r, where p, q, and rare specific rational numbers. Graph the solution set of the inequality and interpret it in the context of the problem. For example: As a salesperson, you are paid $50 per week plus $3 per sale. This week you want your pay to be at least $100. Write an inequality for the number of sales you need to make, and describe the solutions.__

**Objective:**__: How are inequalities different from equations?__

**Essential Question****I Can**write an inequality to represent a situation. I can describe the solutions to a inequality by solving a related equation and then reasoning about values that make the inequality true.

Today's Agenda:

- Work/Review word problems from Friday. - video
- Finding solutions to inequalities

## Tuesday: 3/20/18

Today, SMCPS experienced the unthinkable, and the lesson that I had planned needed to be postponed as the students were not in the correct headspace for learning. Instead, we did an activity called Face-ing math, where they answered math questions and designed a portrait of a famous mathematician.

## Wednesday: 3/21/18
